Metropolitan antiques and jewelry center, located on basement, no 291. Sung Chiang Rd., Taipei, Taiwan, was founded on June 23rd in 1990. There are over 50 shops specialized in antiques and jewelry with around 1,000 square feet totally in the center, the center is well know as another “National Palace Museum” in Taiwan and the most famous antiques and jewelry center in South Eastern Asia.
The collections of the metropolitan antiques and jewelry center is composed of old jade, Chinese pottery, jadeite, coral, all kind of jewelry, paintings, stone carvings, bamboo and wood carvings, bronzes, antique furniture, stationeries, Buddhism sculpture and etc., the center bas become the gathering place for collectors from all over the world and is hot scenic spots for people from China nowadays.
